Dr Richard Newton Specialises in Life Cycle Analysis and has worked in the Aquaculture industry for over 10 years, including work in Asia and Africa. His main interests are in improving resource efficiency in aquaculture, particularly value addition and environmental trade-offs of utilising by-product streams from aquaculture processing. He is active in developing LCA methodology which better represents the uses of by-products within such assessments. Richard has also worked in a number of roles in aquaculture production facilities in Scotland and for the Institute’s consultancy office (Stirling Aquaculture, STAQ) See his profile on the University website or on Researchgate
