A one-day workshop to introduce the new Asian Fish Welfare Network (AFWN) project will be held at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok.

The workshop Theme will be focused on “Improving Welfare of Farmed Animals for Benefit of Thailand Aquaculture – Good Welfare is Better Business”.

The programme will include inputs from University of Stirling staff and other relevant stakeholders (to be confirmed). There will be opportunities for discussing next steps to support fish welfare in Thai Aquaculture and associated value chains, identification of research needs and priorities, building collaborative partnerships, and for influencing future funding calls and activities.
