Dr Alexandra Pounds will lead a 1-hour workshop exploring the intersection of women’s welfare with environmental and animal welfare as part of the Gender in Aquaculture and Fisheries Conference being held at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand 1-3 October 2025.

The workshop approach is based on the OneWelfare framework developed by Dr Pinillos and will look at how it can be applied to aquatic animal food systems. The event will be held in Room B202 at 5pm on Thursday 2nd October 2025. A particular priority is to identify important research questions that could be the focus of future work within the Asian Fish Welfare Network.
