We have launched a first call for nationally led research projects addressing priority fish welfare issues in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Academic or research organisations based in one of these countries are invited to submit expressions of interest to lead collaborative research projects lasting between six and twelve months with funding up to GBP 20,000 from Coefficient Giving through the Asian Fish Welfare Network project, managed by the University of Stirling. Feedback will be provided and eligible applicants will be invited to develop a full proposal for independent evaluation and selection.
The topics that will be eligible for funding and the submission deadlines are different for Indonesia as this is a new country for the network. Further details and an expression of interest template are available on our Welfare Research Calls page. The deadlines for Expressions of Interest are 2nd March for Thailand and Vietnam and 16th March for Indonesia.
