Simão Zacarias attended Aquaculture Stewardship Council Producer Connect Workshop on 2nd April 2026 in Bangkok – Thailand. He was one of the guest speakers and panellist in the fish health and welfare session. He shared experiences on how our Asian Fish Welfare Network (AFWN) Project is building a knowledge network in Asia through supporting welfare research and capacity building. The emphasis is on a bottom-up approach that is based around understanding local drivers and constraints and developing evidence to properly inform strategic action.
