Dr Mahmoud El Tholth of Kafr El Sheik University last week visited the Sustainable Aquaculture Group at the Institute as part of the DFID Newton funded BOLTI project which is looking at Behavioural Prophylaxis as a potentialfish health management strategy for the Egyptian commercial tilapia farming sector.

AQUAEXCEL Consortium Meet in Crete
AQUAEXCEL2020 is an EU Horizon 2020 project which supports transnational access and research coordination between the leading European aquaculture research infrastructures including the Institute of Aquaculture in Stirling. The second annual meeting was held in Crete from 11th to 14th October 2016 to review progress over the first year and work on plans and arrangements for future activities.
